mashup possibility? asia and the buggles

maybe this just works in my head. 'Heat of the moment' by asia, in the big verse parts (where it is just kick and snare), isn't it also very similar to 'Video killed the radio star' by the buggles? then again, i think someone from the buggles was in asia, and then again, I can't believe I'm thinking about this BUT the songs are stuck in my head so here it is.
