from FLCL. I don't have the cable TV and saw this program while drifting in and out of restless sleep in a hotel room in DC. I had been battling a BAD bout of insomnia and could not remain asleep. I would drift in and out and wasn't sure if I was dreaming about the TV program I was watching or not. Anime girl on a vespa with a lefty rickenbacker bass guitar. I was pretty sure I made that up. Anyway, the end credits song is stuck in my head. I have not watched this program since the DC job ended in 2004-5.

i've had a bunch of songs rattling around: sade - smooth operator ghost of tom (the song from grade school music class) "have a coke and a smile" form the early 80s tv commercials and I had a pretty bad headache on sunday into monday. aaaaaaallllllllllmost a migraine. not quite. just a bad headache that stuck with me for a while. there's been others recently that I haven't logged, either I didn't have a chance or they were deemed too recent repeats that I didn't feel noteworthy.

i have recently discovered singing while riding my bike. Why did it take me this long to figure that out? I used to sing all day when I worked as a landscaper because I knew no one could hear me behind the road of the mowers. Anyway, I was singing hideaway folk family while riding tuesday night and now it's stuck in my head. My shoes are laced with irony. Also recently stuck in my head is "You are my Sunshine" which I nominate as saddest song in the world if you actually get to the second and third verses.
