i've never liked this song, I've always thought it was overtly-sappy and nostalgic. I don't log all the songs that get stuck in my head because some of them are "too recent". maybe I should log them. A recent one was "My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean" but just the "bring back" part. why do these songs get stuck in my head I have not heard either of these songs in many years it's probably best to not try to understand those inner workings.

in the past this song came up on random on my phone while commuting to work. i absent-mindedly sang the first line out loud on a somewhat crowded train. i have done this one other time to the song "int'l harbor of grace" by silkworm "you can keep the real estate on the top floor" both time si just decided to own it and nodded at the people looking at me
