rondo a go-go by andrew arvin
this is a weird song to have stuck in my head. it was used during the wgbh and wgbx sign on and sign off in the 70's and 80's
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VMaZnEnFAyM
i always liked the part where it goes into the minor key for the Very Serious Part where they explain that they are publicly funded.
yeah i was a weird kid that watched the 'gbh and 'gbx sign off, wsbk's "ask the manager", and I had a little multiband (AM/FM/SW) radio that i would scan the dial before i went to sleep at night. i still listen to the radio when I sleep now.

but as I walked to work it was "advisory committee" by mirah which is way better.

on the wings of love - jeffery osborne
This song was stuck in my head all day Friday, but over the weekend I couldn't remember the name or the lyrics because I kept thinking it was "love lift us up where we belong". Within 15 minutes of being back to work on Monday, the song was back in my head.
I blame all the soft rock earworms on a job that I had for a long time that had a radio playing "continuous soft hits on the head."
